🏡 Putnam County FL Zoning: R-1 vs R-2 (Mobile Homes, RVs, and Build Rules)

🏷️ R-1 vs. R-2 – What’s the Difference?

The main difference between these zones comes down to mobile home eligibility.

👉 R-1 zoning allows:

  • Site-built homes ✅

  • Modular homes ✅

  • Mobile/manufactured homes ❌ not allowed

👉 R-2 zoning allows:

  • Site-built homes ✅

  • Modular homes ✅

  • Mobile/manufactured homes ✅

So if you’re placing a mobile home, R-2 is where you’ll want to be.

  • ⛺ The RV must be self-contained and temporary
